Job summary

Arkansas Health Center in Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on the Willow Unit, under the supervision of the Unit RN Supervisor. The role emphasizes skilled nursing, collaborative care, and 24-hour coverage to meet treatment goals.

Ventilator/Tracheostomy experience is strongly preferred, LTC background is valued, and shifts are typically M-F 8 hours, with occasional 12-hour coverage as needed to ensure unit staffing.

Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents by monitoring vital signs, developing and updating resident care plan for completion of treatment goals, reviewing residents’ charts for physician orders, progress notes and physical complaints, and performing other nursing procedures as directed.

Arkansas Health Center is a long-term care facility that requires 24hr coverage & it is imperative to have qualified Nurses. This 2nd RN will assist the Unit RN Supervisor with the skilled care on our Willow Unit to provide a collaborative skilled nursing team. Vent/Trach experience is strongly preferred. LTC experience is preferred in order to manage the unit with the skill & expertise needed to ensure compliance with OLTC guidelines. This position works closely with and provides leadership to the CNA & ancillary staff. Typically this position works M-F 8 hr. shifts, though hours may vary at times to 12 hours as needed to assist with Unit Coverage

Job Summary
