Position Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Wellmore of Lexington, 200 Wellmore Dr., Lexington, SC 29072, USA

Employment Type: Full-time, $38.87 per hour

Position Overview

Responsible for delivering person-centered care based on the needs and interests of residents and members, while preserving dignity and quality of life.

Essential Functions
  • Perform professional nursing services, including resident assessments, recording vital signs, administering medications and treatments.
  • Document written and verbal reports promptly to ensure quality care.
  • Coordinate with residents’ physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel as needed.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility) as outlined in the Resident Care Plan.
  • Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Use proper body mechanics during resident assistance.
  • Long hours, including nights and weekends.
Travel

None expected; occasional travel may be required for training or emergency situations.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Four-year college or university degree desired.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Preferred: 2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Fluent reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
  • Attendance and punctuality meeting company standards.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and office equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
