This position is responsible for providing hands‑on resident care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reports and rapid response to any/all emergency situations.

Position Summary

Responsible for delivering person‑centered care based on the needs and interests of residents and members while preserving their dignity and quality of life.

Essential Functions
  • Performs professional and restorative nursing services which include, but are not limited to, resident assessments, recording of vital signs, administering medications and treatments.
  • Keeps timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports ensuring that quality care is provided.
  • Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist and medical personnel as needed.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living as follows in the guidelines as outlined in the Resident Care Plan including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Participates in and attends all required in‑service training and education sessions as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours of Work
  • Very active – frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and climbing.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs; pushing up to 250 lbs independently.
  • Requires proper body mechanics for assisting residents in daily living.
  • Long hours, frequent night and weekend work.
Travel

No travel expected, though occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Four‑year college or university degree desired.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
