Job summary

Campbell Street is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee residents’ health, implement care plans, and provide expert nursing care in a compassionate, transparent facility. You’ll work with a collaborative team, supervise CNAs and LPNs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Iowa RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), and relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of Iowa.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire).
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings.
• Experience in supervisory roles and leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ health status, including physical, mental, and emotional well‑being.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents based on health needs and goals.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions, document changes, and communicate findings to physicians and care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with orders.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other advanced medical treatments as required.
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs, guiding staff to meet care standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to medical emergencies and stabilize residents following protocols.
