Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Kansas City, KS. You will deliver high-quality care, triage in high-pressure environments, and collaborate with doctors and nurses to stabilize patients.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferred Critical Care training. ICU experience and arrhythmia interpretation are needed. Assignment offers day and night shifts with competitive per-shift pay.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required.
• Current ACLS certificate required.
• Minimum of one year of RN ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients with varying levels of illness and injury.
• Triage and quickly assess situations, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Cooperation with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Aid in resuscitative efforts, including CPR and the use of defibrillators.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for emergency interventions (e.g., intubation, central line placement).
• Assist in patient stabilization for conditions like trauma, cardiac arrest, and acute illnesses.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity level using triage protocols.

Shifts Available: Days & Nights

Pay: up to $672 –$768 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $56.00 – $64.00 per hour.

Assignment length: 12 weeks
