Mountain Laurel Medical Center in Grantsville, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse/Nurse Care Coordinator to join our patient-centered team. The role supports clinicians, coordinates care, and ensures high-quality nurse-driven care in a primary care/outpatient setting.

You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, provide education, and document care using EMR. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no routine weekends and a commitment to work-life balance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Maryland.
• Experience in primary care, outpatient, or medical office care coordination.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and patient education.
• Current CPR certification required.

The Registered Nurse/Nurse Care Coordinator is responsible for providing and coordinating high-quality patient care while supporting providers and collaborating with the healthcare team. This individual assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans, administers medications and treatments, provides patient education, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. The Registered Nurse/Nurse Care Coordinator plays a key role in promoting health, managing patient care, and ensuring patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their healthcare journey.

The Position is based in our Grantsville, MD office.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or eligibility to practice in Maryland under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NC). Previous clinical nursing experience in a primary care, outpatient, or medical office setting is preferred. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), patient assessment, care coordination, medication administration, and clinical documentation is highly desirable. Current CPR certification is required. Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills are essential.
