Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Glassport, PA, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an overnight part-time role. The RN will monitor residents, administer medications, and coordinate care with psychiatrists and local providers to support successful community reintegration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily mental status assessments and monitor residents' health and wellness.
• Administer medications and maintain eMAR records.
• Identify early signs of psychiatric relapse or medical concerns.
• Coordinate physical and behavioral healthcare with specialists and providers.
• Develop, document, and support individualized recovery plans.
• Complete nursing assessments, physicals, and clinical documentation.
• Educate on medication management, wellness, and healthy living.
• Assist residents with medical appointments and scheduling.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and trainings.
• Ensure licensing standards and organizational policies are followed.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

• Conduct daily mental status assessments and monitor residents' health and wellness.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate electronic medication administration records (eMAR).
• Identify early signs of psychiatric relapse, medication side effects, and medical concerns.
• Coordinate physical and behavioral healthcare with psychiatrists, physicians, and community providers.
• Develop, document, and support individualized recovery plans focused on resident strengths and goals.
• Complete nursing assessments, physicals, and required clinical documentation.
• Provide education on medication management, wellness, and healthy living.
• Assist residents with scheduling and attending medical appointments as needed.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, staff meetings, trainings, and case consultations.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards, Joint Commission requirements, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
