Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Alachua Academy on-site in Gainesville, FL. You will coordinate daily medical activities for youth, support medical, psychiatric, and dental on-site teams, and maintain patient records with strict adherence to guidelines.

The role requires an RN license, 1–3 years of youth residential care experience preferred, and a commitment to safety and quality care in a 100% on-site setting.

Qualifications

What you will do:A day in the life of a Registered Nurse (RN) at Alachua Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As an RN at Alachua Academy, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the medical department, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for our youth. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage student healthcare according to their needs
• Assist medical, psychiatric, and dental providers on-site and/or via telehealth
• Maintain resident medical files
• Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines
