Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN Float in Florida to join a patient-centered radiology team. You will travel to Radiology Regional's outpatient settings across Southwest Florida, perform injections, monitor vitals, and support post-biopsy care.

Requirements include an RN license, ACLS certification, and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing; the role emphasizes professional communication, cross-functional collaboration, and safeguarding patient information.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.

• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.

You Will:

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Travel to Radiology Regional's various outpatient medical office setting throughout Southwest Florida as needed.
• Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.
• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
