Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health by practicing at the highest level of licensure; you will collaborate with providers and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care across the continuum and support patients, families and staff. GI experience is preferred. REQUIRED: IL or MI RN licensure; American Heart Association BLS prior to start.

PREFERRED: BSN. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required prior to start date.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum with providers and the multidisciplinary care team.

Pay range for this position is $41.85 - $61.63/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

GI experience preferred

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)

Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BSN

Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment

Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
