Job summary

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) seeks a Registered Nurse to support clients experiencing behavioral health crises at our new Crisis Receiving Center in Clermont County, OH. Immediate openings for all shifts, both part-time and full-time, with competitive hourly rates and shift differentials.

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) has immediate openings for all shifts (part-time and full-time), Registered Nurses to support clients experiencing mental health crises at our brand newCrisis Receiving Center in Clermont County (RC)— a first-of-its-kind initiative providing rapid response, short-term stabilization, and coordinated follow-up for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

In addition to the hourly rate of pay, the following shift differential will be applied to your offered hourly rate if your shift falls into any of the following:

1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm = additional $2/hour

2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm = additional $5/hour

3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am = additional $7/hour

About the RC:

The Clermont County RC is a unique and innovative model designed to provide an alternative to emergency rooms or incarceration for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This exciting project is a partnership with local law enforcement, aimed at providing rapid intervention and quality care for individuals facing behavioral health crises.

Position Responsibilities:

Position Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio
• Experience in mental health, addiction treatment, or crisis care strongly preferred
• Strong teamwork, empathy, and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods (up to 12hr shifts)
• Must be physically able to participate in appropriate and approved crisis management techniques.
• Adequate hearing and vision to assess patient behavior, respond to alarms, and observe
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment that may include exposure to unpredictable behaviors.
• Must possess the physical and mental endurance to respond to prolonged crises or emergencies without a decline in performance or judgment
