Job summary

RightClick in Stamford, CT is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide skilled, compassionate care through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery on site.

The ideal candidate will have ASN and BLS, CT RN license, and 1–2 years of L&D experience in an inpatient setting, with BSN preferred. You will work within a fast-paced obstetric team and coordinate care with physicians and pediatric staff.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of L&D experience in an inpatient hospital setting; will consider 1 year of experience, or candidates 2-3 years removed from L&D who are looking to return.
• ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred, and ASN-prepared candidates must obtain a BSN within 2 years of employment
• Active BLS certification
• Active Connecticut RN license or compact license
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in high-acuity situations

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies per physician orders
• Support patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff
• Document patient care accurately and timely within the EMR system
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and escalate when needed

Our client is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide skilled, compassionate care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
