Job summary

Vi Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver superior care for residents at Vi at Highlands Ranch. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of treatments, and supervising staff within a team-focused environment.

Requirements include RN licensure, CPR/First Aid certifications, and a preference for a BSN. Previous long-term care experience and strong resident-centered care are valued. This position is based in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current state RN licensure in the state where practicing is required.
  • Working knowledge of long-term care.
  • Current CPR certification per AHA or Red Cross.
  • Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum 6 months RN experience preferred.
  • Experience or continuing education in elder care preferred.
  • All applicants must maintain a courteous and professional manner.
  • Resident- and customer-focused problem-solving approach.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with the health care team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Registered Nurse - RN

As an RN you will be responsible for providing superior care to assigned residents, to include assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation of administered treatments and quality assurance / performance improvement activities. This essential role also involves the supervision of several talented staff members as well as establishing relationships with the resident, family and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications
  • Qualified applicants are required to be graduates from an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing is required.
  • Has a working knowledge of long-term care.
  • Current CPR certification as approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
  • Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
  • Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly is preferred.
  • All applicants must maintain a courteous andprofessional manner through interactions with others.
