Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Registered Nurse for Rochester, NY, onsite, in a direct-hire role. The position follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York is required.

• Valid and in‑good standing driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care & Health Oversight: conduct health assessments, respond to medical concerns, coordinate medical care with physicians and pharmacies, support person-centered care planning, schedule appointments, and monitor nursing services.
• Delegation, Training & Staff Education: delegate nursing tasks to DSPs per NYS Nurse Practice Act; train and evaluate DSP competency.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement: participate in survey readiness, incident management, and compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies.

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Registered Nurses in Rochester, NY! This role is in person / onsite.

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Pay: $75,000 – $88,000 per year based on experience

Specialty: Developmentally and intellectually disabled group home settings

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

Clinical Care & Health Oversight

• Conducts ongoing health assessments and supports individual’s health needs in the certified residential, day habilitation and respite settings.
• Provides clinical response and guidance for health concerns and medical emergencies.
• Coordinates medical care including collaboration with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and medical liaisons. Additionally, participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team at HCS to support person-centered care planning.
• Works in collaboration with the Medical Liaison to facilitate timely scheduling, appointment attendance, and follow-through on medical recommendations resulting from appointments/hospitalizations.
• Develops, implements, and maintains individualized Plans of Nursing Service to outline nursing care and define delegated responsibilities for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Oversees medication management, including MAR review, reconciliation, and follow-up on medication errors.

Delegation, Training & Staff Education

• Delegates nursing tasks to DSPs in accordance with the NYS Nurse Practice Act.
• Trains, supervises and evaluates DSP competency in health-related supports and delegated nursing tasks.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement

• Supports agency survey readiness efforts, including participation in on-site COMPASS surveys and remediation of identified deficiencies.
• Participates in incident management, including clinical review of reportable incidents
• Ensures compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies, and administrative memoranda

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

• Active RN License in New York
• Experience with person(s) with developmental disabilities and long-term care experience are preferable.
• Ability and temperament to work effectively with people with intellectual and physical disabilities is required
• Valid and good standing drivers license
