Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with IV insertion and infusion experience to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient wellness setting in Chicago, IL (Northfield). The role requires an active Illinois RN license, at least 1 year IV therapy experience, and current CPR certification.

This 1099 independent contractor position offers 30–40 hours per week, Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–3:00 PM (occasional weekend).Paid training, opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of direct IV therapy experience.
• Strong IV insertion and infusion skills.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ozone therapy experience required.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor IV, IM, and subcutaneous therapies.
• Perform IV insertions and ensure proper IV placement.
• Monitor patients during treatments and respond to concerns appropriately.
• Educate patients regarding treatments and wellness services within scope of practice.
• Monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs.
• Communicate with the supervising Nurse Practitioner, Physician, or Medical Director regarding patient concerns or changes in condition.

Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Will have an option for W2 by 2027)

Hours: Willing to provide 30-40 hours a week

Schedules: Mon - Fri: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Sat: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM (Occasional weekend availability may be required)

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, following established protocols, monitoring patients throughout treatment, and communicating effectively with the clinical team.
