Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in California is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 24/7 Industry Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center. The RN will oversee nursing duties, supervise staff, and support rapid mental health evaluations and crisis intervention.

Qualified candidates hold a California RN license with CPR and First Aid, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least 1 year in mental health care; supervisory experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license with current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of mental health care experience with seriously emotionally disturbed individuals; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to pass the facility Medication Test.

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

• Licensure & Certifications Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) License Current CPR Certification Current First Aid Certification Valid California Driver's License
• Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience One (1) year of experience in a mental health care setting working with seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and adults preferred
• One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to successfully pass the facility Medication Test

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The Registered Nurse is the treatment team member who is responsible for overseeing all nursing duties and related nursing activities for clients. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for the supervision of the nursing department staff assigned to their respective shift.

Division/Program Overview

Facility & Setting: 24/7 walk-in outpatient urgent care

Clinical Services Rapid mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and medication support

Length of Stay: Short-term stabilization (up to 24 hours)

Population Served: Serves up to 12 adults (18 + ) and 6 adolescents (ages 13-17)
