Job summary

QUICK CARE PEDIATRICS in Butler, PA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide direct pediatric and adolescent patient care on-site. You will perform triage, vital signs, medication administration, and assist during exams and procedures.

You will educate families, coordinate follow-up visits and immunization schedules, and collaborate with physicians and other team members to develop care plans, maintain documentation, and uphold safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania with current BLS certification.
• Pediatrics/outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong triage and patient care skills including vaccines and treatments.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and teams.
• Ability to provide health education to parents and caregivers.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and compassionate care.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; pediatric certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Butler, PA. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to pediatric and adolescent patients, including triage, vital signs assessment, medication administration, and support during exams and procedures. Daily responsibilities include patient and family education on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care, as well as coordination of follow-up visits, referrals, and immunization schedules. The nurse will collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other team members to develop and implement care plans, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and uphold safety and infection control standards. The role also involves clear communication with parents and caregivers, responding to questions and concerns, and contributing to a supportive, child-friendly clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania and current BLS certification.
• Clinical experience in pediatrics, family practice, or a similar outpatient setting is highly beneficial.
• Strong assessment, triage, and patient care skills, including administering medications, vaccines, and treatments safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to provide clear health education to parents and caregivers, and to support family-centered care.
• Solid organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate care, respect for diverse backgrounds, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
