Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Southwest Specialty Group. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

The RN will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care and support a team that values patient care, compassion, and integrity. Responsibilities include patient flow management, patient and family instruction, records maintenance, medication administration, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• 1-3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
