HCA Healthcare in Nashville seeks a Nurse Navigator, an RN with advanced knowledge in cardiac care, to support outpatient heart failure clinics and inpatient care optimization. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call.
The Nurse Navigator will operate telemetry monitors, educate patients, document treatments, and respond to emergencies following SAMC protocols. ACLS preferred and CHFN certification preferred.

The Nurse Navigator is a registered nurse with RN who possesses advanced knowledge and skill in cardiac nursing. Makes decisions of moderate difficulty. Handles confidential information regarding patient records. Operates and analyzes telemetry cardiac monitors, exercise equipment and patient evaluation tools. May be required to make critical decisions concerning the initiative of emergency medical procedures.
Graduate of an approved school for registered nurses and current state required license to practice nursing.
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Certification as a heart failure nurse preferred (CHFN)
Minimal three years' experience as a RN with 1-2 years' experience working with cardiac patients, preferably on a telemetry unit or coronary care unit required.
Must have been directly involved in education and care of patients with coronary heart disease, including heart failure.
Current Registered Nurse license to practice nursing in the State of employment
BLS required
ACLS preferred per policy
