Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Patient Care Coordinator
Idaho Concierge Medicine | Boise / Treasure Valley
Full-Time | $45–55/hour DOE + Mileage Reimbursement
About Idaho Concierge Medicine

Idaho Concierge Medicine provides white-glove, relationship-driven care focused on preventive medicine, longevity optimization, hormone support, peptides, IV therapies, and personalized wellness protocols. We deliver extended, unhurried visits in patients’ homes and other convenient settings across the Treasure Valley. Our approach blends conventional nursing excellence with functional and holistic strategies so patients receive thoughtful, high-touch support.

We are a family-centered, growing practice that values autonomy within appropriate scope, clear communication, process improvement, and genuine patient relationships. This role is designed to meaningfully reduce the day-to-day patient coordination and preparation load on the founder/Nurse Practitioner while maintaining a high standard of care.

The Role

We are seeking a highly professional, intelligent, and articulate Registered Nurse with strong critical thinking skills to join us as a full-time Patient Care Coordinator. You will operate with substantial autonomy in nursing functions while working under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner. Your perspective and ideas will be heard, and you will help design and refine systems as the practice grows.

A key part of success in this role is the ability to anticipate patient and provider needs—preparing lab reviews, check‑ins, and other materials so the Nurse Practitioner’s work is minimized (all work is reviewed and double-checked by the provider). As you learn the practice’s peptide, alternative, and longevity protocols, you will be expected to educate patients and recommend appropriate options under the Nurse Practitioner’s direction and established protocols.

During an upcoming maternity leave for one of our Medical Assistants, you will also provide temporary coverage of hands‑on and office support duties. The core Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities are ongoing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate patient and provider needs; prepare organized lab reviews, check‑in summaries, and other materials so the Nurse Practitioner’s work is minimized (all materials reviewed by the provider).
  • Review lab results with patients, provide clear education, and make appropriate recommendations under the Nurse Practitioner’s direction and within RN scope of practice.
  • Educate patients on and recommend appropriate peptide, treatment, and wellness options under the Nurse Practitioner’s direction and established protocols once trained.
  • Serve as a primary clinical point of contact for patients, coordinating care and ensuring timely follow‑through.
  • Perform phlebotomy and IV therapy.
  • Prepare the provider for visits and support seamless in‑home and virtual encounters.
  • Process refills and transmit prescriptions under the Nurse Practitioner’s direction and established protocols.
  • Help design, document, and improve clinical and operational processes and workflows.
  • Provide temporary coverage of Medical Assistant duties (phlebotomy, IVs, visit preparation, and related office/clinical support) during maternity leave.
  • Travel to patient locations and the centralized office as needed (mileage reimbursed).
  • Maintain a professional presence and communication style appropriate for a premium concierge practice.
Essential Functions & Working Conditions
  • Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel throughout the Treasure Valley.
  • Ability to perform clinical tasks in varied home environments, including standing, bending, and carrying supplies.
  • Comfort with electronic health records and process‑oriented work.
  • Reliable availability consistent with a full‑time role in a mobile practice.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills suitable for direct patient interaction in a high‑touch setting.
What Makes This Role Distinctive
  • Meaningful autonomy in nursing functions with clear support from the Nurse Manager, Medical Assistant(s), and operations team.
  • Variety—days involve a mix of patient homes, office‑based work, and different clinical activities.
  • Extended appointments and the opportunity to know patients and deliver thoughtful care.
  • Learning environment for peptides, functional, alternative, and longevity approaches, with the ability to educate and recommend within established protocols.
  • Growth potential and the chance to shape systems and the patient experience.
  • Centralized office base with mileage reimbursement for travel.
  • Family‑centered culture.
  • $45–55 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Mileage reimbursement for work‑related travel.
  • Employee discount on peptide products, services, and other offerings.
  • Idaho Concierge Medicine membership for the employee and immediate family.
  • Family‑centered work environment.
  • Opportunity to grow with a boutique, high‑touch practice and contribute to systems and patient experience.
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho (or immediately eligible).
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, professionalism, and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work autonomously within nursing scope while collaborating and escalating appropriately to the Nurse Practitioner.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and prepare organized materials for provider review.
  • Experience with phlebotomy and/or IV therapy preferred (or clear ability to become proficient quickly).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Professional presence appropriate for a concierge practice.
  • Interest in functional, holistic, preventive, or longevity medicine preferred.
  • ER or acute‑care experience is a plus but not required.
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain promptly).
