Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to supervise CNAs and support the Director of Nursing. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, and ensure timely baseline and ongoing assessments are completed.

You will also prepare for physician rounds, initiate appropriate referrals, handle medical documentation and reports, and oversee nursing care within policy and standards while monitoring

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation.
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

What You Will Do

• Monitor residents for changes in condition (e.g., confusion, fever, breathing difficulty, pain, appetite changes, mobility loss) and notify providers as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

What You Must Have

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
