Job summary

Wisconsin Fertility Institute is seeking a compassionate RN to join our fertility care team. You will coordinate cycles, educate patients on medications and IVF procedures, triage calls, and document care in the EMR while upholding HIPAA standards.

You will work closely with physicians and clinical staff in a patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate has an Alabama RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience, strong blood draw and clinical skills, and a preference for women's health or

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Nursing experience is required (2+ years).
• Strong blood draw skills are required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Experience in women's health or fertility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient fertility treatment cycles from diagnostics through treatment planning.
• Provide patient education and counseling on medications and IVF procedures.
• Triage patient calls/messages related to meds, lab results, and treatment plans.
• Document care in the EMR while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate physician orders, instructions, and lab results to patients.
• Transcribe and transmit prescriptions and manage prior authorizations.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer medications; record vitals.
• Assist with patient preparation, specimen collection, and exam/ procedure room flow.
• Circulate for pre-op, intra-op, and post-op procedures.
• Perform abdominal ultrasound during IUI and embryo transfer procedures.
• Maintain organized, safe, and stocked treatment areas.
• Support smooth daily patient flow and provide compassionate guidance.

The Registered Nurse Provides High-quality Clinical Support Across All Phases Of Patient Care - From Diagnostics Through Treatment - While Delivering An Exceptional Patient Experience. As a Key Member Of Our Clinical Team, You Will

• Coordinate patient fertility treatment cycles from diagnostic testing through treatment planning


• Provide patient education and counseling on medications, treatment protocols, and IVF procedures


• Triage patient calls and messages related to medications, lab results, and treatment plans


• Accurately document care in the EMR while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance


• Communicate physician orders, instructions, and lab results to patients in a timely manner


• Transcribe and transmit prescriptions and manage prior authorizations


• Perform phlebotomy, administer medications (subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral), and record vital signs and histories


• Assist with patient preparation, specimen collection, and exam/procedure room flow


• Circulate for pre-op, intra-op, and post-op procedures


• Perform abdominal ultrasound during IUI and embryo transfer procedures


• Maintain organized, safe, and fully stocked treatment areas


• Support smooth daily patient flow and provide compassionate guidance to patients and families
