Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care on overnight shifts, partnering with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized treatment plans.

The RN will supervise licensed and support staff, document care in the EMR, and respond to emergencies as needed, while upholding ERC Pathlight's standards of care and patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (Required).
• Basic Life Support certification (Required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Required).
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations (Required).
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care within ERC Pathlight's system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to implement individualized care plans.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs/LVNs and Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with EMS/911 when needed.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

Schedule: Full time Overnights

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides coordinated medical and clinical nursing care to meet the needs of each assigned patient within the ERC Pathlight system. They will partner with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and aconsistentlytherapeutic milieu for all patients.

As a leader of the health care team, the RN provides professional nursing care,utilizingsound clinical judgement, in alignment with ERC Pathlight’s established standards of care, policies, and procedures. They are expected to remain flexible,demonstrateeffective, efficient care whilemaintainingquality, in alignment with ERC Pathlight’s vision, mission, and strategic plan. All teammates are expected to treat patients, families, and co‑workers with dignity and respect. The RN maybe requiredto work on‑call shifts based on business needs,in accordance withapplicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

Essential duties andresponsibilities:

• Performs a full range of nursing services including assessment, care planning, administering treatment, and evaluating patient response to carein accordance withthe patient’s treatment plan

• Performs initial intake assessment of new patients and discharge reconciliation and education

• Places, receives, and completes provider orders per ERCP policy

• Administers medications via multiple routesin accordance withERCP policy and provider orders

• Performs phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testingin accordance withERCP policy and laboratory vendor protocols

• Places/maintainsnasogastric tubes and administers enteral feeding

• Places/maintainsintravenous access and administers intravenous fluids

• Performs wound care

• Documents all direct patient care, monitoring, and observation in the electronic medical record

• Supervises and delegates care to Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and Behavioral Health Technicians

• Communicates and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement an individualized treatment plan for each assigned patient

• Ensures care provided aligns with the individualized treatment plan and patient outcome goals

• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsregardingpatient progress toward treatment goals and planning for continued or changing clinical interventions

• Documents and reports to treatment teamregardingpatient status and progress

• Participates in training, teaching, and mentoring new nursing department teammates

• Responds to emergency situations until emergency medical services (EMS/911) arrive on scene

Must haves:

• Active Registered Nurse License in state position is held (Required)

• Basic Life Support certification (Required)

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing (Required)

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations (Required)

• Ability tomaintainpatient confidentiality (Required)

Bonus qualities:

• 1 year+ working with patients in the mental health field (Preferred)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

Maryland Pay Range

$37.50 — $47 USD
