Job summary

ERC Pathlight in Maryland is seeking a Nurse House Supervisor to join the nursing leadership team for a full-time night shift (6:30pm–7am). You will supervise staff, coordinate care, and ensure safe, compliant unit operations while supporting patient care and milieu management.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in nursing, an unrestricted RN license in the state, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience with strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Assist with scheduling teammates for open shifts.
• Complete monthly audits and checklists.
• Ensure unit compliance with policies to meet accreditation and licensing.
• Serve as primary contact regarding clinical questions, policies, and procedures.
• Provide direct patient care as necessary.
• Assist teammates with patient care responsibilities including milieu and crisis management.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

Schedule: Full time, 6:30pm to 7am

As a member of the nursing leadership team, the Nurse House Supervisorsupports teammates in providing a safe environment for patients and teammates through the coordination and evaluation of the unit under the general direction of the Nurse Director.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Provides oversightto assignedteam by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members

• Ensuresthat everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties

• Uses the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team’s level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards

• Ensures efficient and effective unit operations including sufficient supplies and adjusts staffing as necessary

• Assistswith scheduling teammates to cover open shifts

• Completes monthly audits and checklists

• Assures unit compliance with policies and procedures that meet accreditation and licensing requirements, including reviewing and following up on incident reports

• Serves as a resource and primary point of contactregardingclinical questions, policies, and procedures

• Provides direct patent care as necessary

• Assiststeammates with patient care responsibilities including milieu and crisis management

Musthaves:

• Associate’s degree in nursing (required)

• UnrestrictedRNlicense in state where assigned (required)

• 1+ year of direct patient care experience (required)

• Attention to detail (required)

• Strong communicationskills, ability to lead, motivate and inspire others (required)

Bonus qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)

• 1+ years of supervising others or leading teams (preferred)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

Maryland Pay Range

$47—$55 USD
