Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Arlington, VA seeks a Wellness Nurse RN to oversee resident health, monitor trends, and ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance across the community.

You will perform assessments, support staff with clinical decisions, and coordinate with families and physicians to promote safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends.
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure MAR/TAR documentation accuracy.
• Complete medication audits and oversee medication program compliance.
• Provide clinical guidance to care staff and coordinate with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director.
