Job summary

The State of Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. You will assess patients, develop individualized plans, and support treatment teams in a secure inpatient setting.

The role requires Minnesota RN licensure (NCLEX-RN) with possible incentives. It includes evening shifts, group programming, and discharge planning responsibilities within a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota; NCLEX-RN must be passed.
  • Future Registered Nurses within six months of graduation encouraged to apply; contingent offers after degree and NCLEX-RN.
  • Experience in mental health setting preferred.

Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping others in a time of need? If so, we are looking for you to join our dedicated and compassionate team! As a Registered Nurse you will provide professional nursing care while assessing the needs of patients and developing individualized plans that meet the needs of the ones we serve. You will also participate and assist in implementing the care and treatment that has been determined by nursing staff and supervisors within the hospital.

Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center is a secure inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults with mental illness in a large, campus-based setting. The population also includes individuals civilly committed for specialized care, such as competency for criminal court (Rule 20), emergency 48-hour bed holds, and co-occurring mental illness/chemical dependency. Located just 15 minutes north of the Twin Cities metro, this modern facility offers compassionate, person-centered care in a pleasant environment appreciated by patients and employees alike.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-RN.
