REGISTERED NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST

This vacancy will be posted on internal Career Website for 5 business days.

The responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist include an empathetic and instructional approach to patient care, the preparation, calibration and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals (under the direction of an authorized user), the performance of quality control procedures and the operation of imaging, laboratory and computer instrumentation.

Home office location is: New Rochelle Cardiology, 20 Cedar Street, New Rochelle NY 10801. Must be willing to cover various sites when required. Locations are:

  1. 2711 Henry Hudson Parkway, Bronx, NY 10463
  2. 4256 Bronx BLVD, Bronx, NY 10466

Must hold the following:

  1. New York State License in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  2. Associates degree required from a formal education program in nuclear medicine technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee of education programs in nuclear medicine terminology.
  3. Experience with cardiac nuclear stress testing required.
  4. CNMT and/or ARRT certified.
  5. BLS
  6. ALS
