Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Multispecialty Neurodiagnostic Technologist (non-registered) for a full-time first shift. The role involves performing EEGs, long-term monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, and EMG support, with patient education and safety oversight throughout tests.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 3 years as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, and BLS certification; EEG program graduation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
• At least 3 years of experience in the medical field.
• Graduate of an EEG program preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality routine and complex EEGs to obtain data for diagnosis.
• Handle long-term monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, EMG assistance, and carotid endarterectomy monitoring.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and rooms for procedures; educate patients and families.
• Monitor safety and comfort during tests and maintain accurate data and reports.
• Participate in orientation and training for new staff; on-call responsibilities.
