Qualificações

• Three years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• One year EEG experience including electrode setup, montage creation/verification, troubleshooting, hook-up and discontinuation.
• One year EMU facility experience with REEG Technician training for EMU procedures including subdural grid implant intraoperative, WADA, SPECT, SEEG, and cortical stimulation and postoperative procedures.
• One year experience in a hospital facility performing Evoked Potentials, OCT, and assisting neurologists with NCV/EMG and Botox procedures.
• EEG Technician Registered credential is required.

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform EEGs, NCS, Evoked potentials, OCTs, and long-term video EEG monitoring.
• Oversee daily performance of entry-level and registered technologists.
• Lead the department in the event it is needed, coordinating EMU unit procedures such as WADA, SEEG and cortical stimulation.
