Morningside House of Leesburg is seeking a Registered Medication Aide to join our assisted living community in Leesburg, VA. The role involves administering oral and topical medications to residents under a licensed nurse's supervision, while upholding health, comfort, and wellbeing of residents.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and be a Certified Medication Aide. Training, growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits are provided by Morningside Elite Management.

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certified Medication Aide certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and community policy.
• Maintains accurate medication records and documents administrations.
• May take and record residents' vital signs as required by medications.
• Observes and reports any adverse reactions to a licensed nurse.
• Maintains infection control and universal precautions when handling medications.
• Attends required trainings and staff meetings.
