This position may work in various areas of the laboratory, including Transfusion Service, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory instruments, utilizing the laboratory computer system in the performance of duties, and maintaining strict adherence to established policies and procedures. The position operates under the supervision of a general supervisor but works independently. Direct supervision is not required for specimen processing, test performance, or result reporting.
