Job summary

Qualifications

• New graduates with Medical Assistant certification or registration.
• 1–2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Typing: 25 WPM; basic MS Word.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• English proficiency; second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care with appropriate age-specific care.
• Schedule and manage appointments; maintain clinic calendar.
• Prepare patient charts and ensure smooth patient flow in offices/exam rooms.
• Administer IM medications and tuberculin skin testing (PPD).
• Collect specimens (EKG, urine) and document results in the computer.
• Transcribe physician orders and document patient encounters accurately.
• Maintain inventory and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
