Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams with patient assessments and image optimization. You will document history, maintain safety standards, and support related radiology duties in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registration in both Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography by ARRT.
• Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as a mammography technologist.
• BLS healthcare provider certification before 90-day probation.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mammography Equipment and performs exams with patient assessment and protocol adjustments.
• Records patient breast history and notes discomfort or medical concerns.
• Adheres to department policies and documents work in HIS/RIS/PACS and PEN RAD.
• Assists in other areas or modalities as needed.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work area.
• Maintains ongoing Mammography QA and continuing education.
