Job Overview Registered ER Nurse (Days)

Take on an essential role with our client in Bronx, NY, as a Registered ER Nurse. In this position, you will provide critical care to patients, respond promptly to emergencies, and operate advanced medical equipment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver efficient, high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Compensation: $60/hour

Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Responsibilities As The Registered ER Nurse

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clinical conditions, identify serious situations, and prioritize and initiate appropriate actions.
• Emergency Response: Implement emergency measures when a physician is unavailable and deliver immediate, lifesaving interventions.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor emergency care equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters.
• Therapeutic Care: Administer medications, IV therapy, and other therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient observations, nursing interventions, and coordinated care activities across professional disciplines.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement patient care plans, documenting and coordinating assignments among team members.
  
  

Qualifications for the Registered ER Nurse:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Nursing, including ventilator experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Skills: Proficient in managing a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Flexibility: Ability to float to Med-Surg or ICU units as needed.
