Job summary

TKDA in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a licensed Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience in power, lighting and signal design for facilities. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, plus solid NEC and Minnesota code knowledge, are essential.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers on comprehensive electrical systems. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering, PE eligibility or registration within 12–18 months, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota or able to obtain within 12–18 months.
• Minimum four years of progressive experience in power, lighting and signal system design for facilities.
• Experience with electrical distribution equipment layout and design.
• Strong NEC and Minnesota Building Code knowledge (incl. Energy Code/ASHRAE 90.1).
• High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, mechanical, and structural engineers on design layouts.
• Contribute to panel boards, transformers, lighting, fire alarm, security, and data systems.
• Support project team meetings and client consultations.
• Travel up to 10% for meetings, inspections, and site visits.
