Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Neurology Technologist to perform EEG studies for patients aged 18 and older, following physician orders. This role includes clinical oversight of non-registered EEG technicians and serving as a super-user for digital EEG systems and long-term monitoring.

The position requires on-site work with a part-time schedule, including one weekend per month. A background in neurology and EEG registries is preferred to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year neurology experience in a clinical setting
• Experience with Long Term Monitoring preferred
• Knowledge of digital EEG systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
• Obtains patient history from medical records and documents information in the digital EEG system; ensures orders and charges are correct.
• Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems; clips studies to reduce server space.
• Provides clinical oversight for unregistered EEG technicians and ensures quality of EEG procedures.
