Job summary

The Neurology Technologist role at Virtua Health focuses on performing EEG studies for adults and children and supervising non-registered EEG technicians. You will support physicians in a comprehensive digital EEG workflow and long‑term monitoring systems.

Candidates should have at least one year of neurology experience in a clinical setting, familiarity with EEG systems, and ABRET registry within one year of hire. This on-site position offers a competitive hourly rate and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year adult and pediatric neurology experience preferred must be in a clinical setting.
• Experience in Long Term Monitoring and critical patient experience preferred.
• Knowledge of digital EEG systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
• Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
• Maintains the digital EEG and long‑term monitoring systems. Clips long‑term monitoring studies to reduce required server space.
• Provides clinical oversight for unregistered EEG technicians. Ensures and measures the clinical quality of EEG procedures performed.
