WMH Alzheimer’s Support Group is seeking an Echo Tech who, under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, provides clinically relevant echocardiographic information to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Candidates must have prior echocardiographic imaging experience and be certified (ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI).
Excellent verbal and written communication, strong computer skills, and the ability to generate reports are required. CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
The Echo Tech who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Prior experience in echocardiographic imaging and techniques required.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Must earn CPR/ BLScertification required. Sonography education, training, and experience in the specialty area(s) to be performed. Demonstrated competence in the specialty area(s) to be performed, including sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medial Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing medical education in the specialty area(s) performed, higher education, research, staff training, etc.). Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation.
