Community Hospital is hiring an Echo Tech Registered for a full-time role in Noninvasive Cardiology. You will perform adult and pediatric echocardiography studies with a range of modalities and support cross-training in other cardiology procedures.

The position emphasizes high quality imaging, patient care, and adherence to procedural standards under the Medical Director and lab management. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in Echocardiography from an accredited program.
• Current ARDMS/CCI registry or eligible to obtain within 1 year.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiography studies (M-mode, 2D, 3D, Color Doppler).
• Assist with TEE, stress echocardiography, pharmacologic stress tests, and related procedures.
• Handle clerical tasks for physician interpretation and record keeping.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and organized workflow in the lab.
• Provide cross-training in related cardiology procedures as needed.
• Support QA/accreditation processes and training for new staff.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Certificate of completion for Echocardiography

Registered Echo tech (RCS, RDCS)

Cross-training program participation

1 year echocardiography experience (preferred)

BLS certification

ACLS certification
