Job summary

The Wave International, LLC seeks a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our Clinical Services team in Florida. This role provides nutrition assessments, individualized care plans, and counseling for clients in residential behavioral health, with both in-person and telehealth support across Wave facilities.

Ideal candidates hold RD/RDN credentials, Florida licensure, CPR certification, and experience in clinical or behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments for newly admitted clients
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans and recommendations
• Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and follow-up sessions
• Facilitate 2-4 nutrition education groups per week
• Monitor client progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
• Collaborate with culinary and clinical staff regarding dietary restrictions and allergies
• Provide telehealth consultations and support across Wave facilities
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation

About the Role:

The Wave International is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our Clinical Services team. This position provides nutrition counseling, dietary assessments, and nutrition-focused programming for clients in a residential behavioral health treatment setting.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical and culinary staff to ensure clients receive individualized nutrition support that aligns with their recovery goals. This role includes both in-person services and virtual (telehealth) support for multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for newly admitted clients
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans and recommendations
• Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and follow-up sessions
• Facilitate 2-4 nutrition education groups per week
• Monitor client progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
• Collaborate with culinary and clinical staff regarding dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutrition recommendations
• Provide telehealth consultations and support across Wave facilities

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Active Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist License, or ability to obtain before start date
• Current CPR Certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, or related clinical settings
• Experience facilitating psychoeducational or wellness groups
• Comfortable providing services both in person and via telehealth

Work Environment

This position requires regular travel and/or presence between Wave facilities in Clearwater and Edgewater, Florida, along with virtual support for additional locations. The Registered Dietitian will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team focused on supporting client recovery and wellness.
