Job summary

Shield Healthcare is seeking a Registered Dietitian Sales Representative to strengthen our Enteral Nutrition Support Program in the Inland Empire, CA. You will promote the enteral feeding program and support hospitals and clinics with nutrient education.

The role requires current RD licensure, at least 2 years of experience, excellent communication, and the ability to travel within the territory. A bilingual English/Spanish background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian licensure is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and to company meetings.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Promote the enteral feeding program and maximize sales in the Inland Empire territory (hospitals and outpatient offices).
• Provide nutrition education tools and act as subject matter expert in the field.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to grow Enteral business.
• Conduct enteral feeding pump education.
• Review clinical documentation to determine Medicare eligibility.
• Engage in outreach to increase community knowledge of the Enteral program.
• Participate in community events and health fairs.

Shield HealthCare is looking for a Registered Dietitian Sales Representative, who will play avital role in providing a great patient and customer experience that will result in the continued growth of our Enteral Nutrition Support Program in the Inland Empire, CA area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As part of the sales team, promote the enteral feeding program and maximize enteral sales in an assigned territory (including hospitals and outpatient doctor offices).
• As a subject matter expert, provide recommendations, develop, test and implement nutrition education tools to be used in the field
• Work with Sales and Marketing teams to increase Enteral business
• Conduct enteral feeding pump education.
• Review clinical documentation to determine if patients qualify for Medicare coverage.
• Work on outreach efforts to increase community knowledge of the SHC Enteral program
• Participate in community events and health fairs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Registered Dietitian licensure
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel within your assigned territory, and to company meetings.
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to sell a service and promote a product line
• Experience with enteral patients, pediatric enteral experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• Base pay plus of $62-90k plus monthly commission and car allowance

The posted range for this position is $62-90k which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay withing the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for commission not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
