About The Role
The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for all nutrition-related aspects of care, working closely with families to equip them with the skills needed to nutritionally restore their child. This is a remote, telehealth-based role where care is delivered virtually. The Dietitian will collaborate with the treatment team to provide evidence-based care within our family-based treatment approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into healthy relationships with food through ongoing support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs, including initial assessments, meal planning, and weight range assessments.
• Guide patients through exposure to fear/challenge foods.
• Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to team members and educate families.
• Align interactions with the treatment team’s directives to present a united front.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Update treatment plans weekly based on patient progress.
• Reassess nutritional needs regularly and communicate recommendations.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition education to challenge irrational beliefs about food, weight, and shape.
• Build therapeutic relationships with families, establishing rapport and appropriate boundaries.
• Document thoroughly within Equip’s electronic medical records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• Licensed RDN required; experience with eating disorders and family-based treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams.
• Experience working on interdisciplinary teams.
• Organized, results-driven, and able to balance clinical and business needs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Must reside in the specified location.
