Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The role focuses on enhancing residents' nutritional health within a rehabilitation and long-term care setting.

The RD will conduct assessments, create care plans, and provide counseling while collaborating with physicians, nursing, and food service. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Registered Dietitian credential and current licensure as required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long‑term care preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of independent and collaborative work.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents on admission and as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing, speech therapy, and food service teams.
• Monitor nutritional status, weight trends, labs, and dietary intake.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to dietary services.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
• Review menus and therapeutic diets for adequacy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
