Nutritious Lifestyles in Beaumont, TX, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services within a hybrid, full-time setting. You will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver medical nutrition therapy to improve patient outcomes using the Food as Medicine approach.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists, educate residents and families, and support nutrition care across the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to sit for the RD exam or RD certification.
• Active RD license or eligibility for licensure.
• Healthcare setting experience in clinical nutrition preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Beaumont, TX location.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nutrition services to residents.
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy to improve health and quality of life using Food as Medicine.
• Manage nutrition support for tube feeding, dialysis, wound healing, weight management, and other needs.
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and intervene as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and facility staff.

Pat Rate: Starting $32/hour

What You'll Do:

• Providing clinical nutrition services to residents while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy to improve patient health, recovery, and quality of life through the power of Food as Medicine.
• Manage nutrition support for tube feeding, dialysis, wound healing, weight management, and other specialized nutrition needs.
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and facility staff.
