Job summary

Nutritious Lifestyles in Killeen, TX is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD Eligible to provide clinical nutrition services in a hybrid, full-time role. You will conduct nutrition assessments, deliver medical nutrition therapy, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care.

Flexible scheduling with no weekends, comprehensive training, and relocation assistance are offered. Starting pay is $35 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), PTO and more,

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for RD licensure.
• No experience required for graduates or interns.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy to improve health and recovery.
• Manage nutrition support including tube feeding and dialysis as needed.
• Monitor nutritional status and intervene as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in care plan meetings and implement resident plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy to improve patient health, recovery, and quality of life through the power ofFood as Medicine.
• Manage nutrition support for tube feeding, dialysis, wound healing, weight management, and other specialized nutrition needs.
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and facility staff.
