Job summary

Aston Group's Haines City Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking Registered Dietitians to join our team in full-time and part-time roles within a skilled nursing facility. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and provide counseling to residents, families, and staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, adherence to regulatory standards, and delivering nutrition care that supports recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Dietitian in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutritional assessments for residents in the SNF setting.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document assessments, progress notes, and updates according to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and SNF dietary regulations.
  • Support food service operations to maintain quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.
  • Full-time RD: coverage includes two additional facilities as needed.
  • Part-time RD: provide 24 hours per week of dietetic coverage.
