Job summary

Intersect Healthcare seeks a Dietitian to support nutritional care for residents in a long‑term care setting. You will develop and document care plans, counsel residents and families, and coordinate with the nutrition team to ensure diet orders and supplements are appropriately implemented.

Responsibilities include nutrition counseling, dietary modifications, training for interns and staff, and ensuring meals meet prescribed diets.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian, or Registered Eligible, or possess a Bachelor of Dietetics Degree.
• Completed an accredited Diabetic internship program.

Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians and health care personnel to assess nutritional needs and document nutrition care plans.
• Advise residents and families on nutrition principles and diet modifications.
• Monitor food service operations for conformance to safety and quality standards.
• Perform discharge nutrition education and weight management follow-up.
