Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine's Sibley Memorial Hospital seeks a Clinical Dietitian to work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement medical nutrition therapy for diverse patient populations.

The role involves calculating nutrition support, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and supporting wellness and disease management in a community hospital setting in Washington, DC. PRN/On-call, day shift, on-site.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as a Dietitian-Nutritionist in the District of Columbia
• Work requires knowledge of food science, biochemistry, physiology, management science, behavioral science and social science as applied to human nutrition, and basic knowledge of clinical research tools.
• Work requires completion of additional advancement criteria to attain and maintain the specialist level. The advancement criteria checklist is attached. Criteria is deemed appropriate by the department head.

Salary Range: Minimum$$49.00/visit - Maximum$$49.00/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
