Corewell Health in Royal Oak is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide direct patient care through the Nutrition Care Process. Responsibilities include performing assessments, developing diet plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Nutrition, RD status, and BLS certification. This part-time role offers a flexible work schedule and comprehensive benefits.
Casual, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Variable weekends.
A practitioner with the knowledge, skills and experience to be a competent Registered Dietitian. The Registered Dietitian’s primary responsibilities include direct patient care through the Nutrition Care Process (NCP)—conducting nutrition assessments, determining diagnoses, developing evidence‑based interventions, prescribing diets/feeding orders, and coordinating Medical Nutrition Therapy services. The RD also provides nutrition counseling and education for inpatient and outpatient populations, collaborates respectfully with patients and the interdisciplinary team, and maintains effective relationships to support a culture of safe, high‑quality care.
