Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team. This part-time role (20 hours) includes day, weekend, and on-call coverage to support enteral nutrition and therapeutic diet interventions across diverse patient populations.

You will perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and improve patient outcomes in a leading academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if RDN credentialing was obtained prior to January 2024.
• Individuals earning the RDN credential after January 2024 must hold a Master’s Degree.
• A Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist with the State of Maryland or eligibility to apply for licensure before hire.
• All levels of experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide individualized nutrition care for diverse patients, including those requiring enteral nutrition or therapeutic diets.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote wellness and manage acute or chronic illness.
• Develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust nutrition strategies as needed.

Salary Range: Minimum 32.40/hour - Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
